Educating the students of today to be the world citizens of tomorrow
An international language game...?!
Date: 26-11-13

Dear international alumni of the University of Groningen,

The University of Groningen has always been open to international students and as a result boasts its numerous alumni from all over the world. Now we could use your help! MICReLa, a research group based at the University of Groningen, has developed an online language game in which within only 10 minutes people can test how well they can understand a related language. The results of the game will be used in their investigation on communication in Europe. They are looking for more than 25.000 participants and you as an international alumnus/a can help them with that! We would like to ask you to spread the link to the game (www.micrela.nl/app) in your home country through social media, e-mail or any other means you find suitable. It will only take two minutes of your time and it will mean a lot to them. And of course, you yourself are welcome to take part in the game!

We hope you will help the University of Groningen advance the knowledge of mutual intelligibility of closely related languages!
